Red Dot on the Canik Mete M9

Finally got the time to mount up the Osight S on my Canik. Been itching to do it but haven't had the time. It feels a bit weird and getting used to finding the actual dot from a draw and present is taking a bit of time, but I am getting better at it. My bullseyes are tighter and shot are more sure I can say that. I think going to a red dot on the Canik was a good plan. I will toss pics up tomorrow.

Nice upgrade. The learning curve on finding the dot during the draw is pretty normal, but once the presentation becomes consistent, most shooters find they are faster and more accurate. I would like to see the photos and hearing how it performs after a few more range sessions.

Got one on my Echelon. Hated it at first but since learning how to use it I love it

Finally able to get the pics to toss up. I am working on my drawing and presenting, and it is easier to find the dot. For me, it is a shift in taking in the environment in front of me, acquiring the target and presenting the firearm with a natural finger point to bring the sights into play. Now all the above but changing the finger point to adding the little box to acquire the red dot. Small change but I am getting there. Standing still and shooting still targets is much better though!

Finding your dot right off the draw is its own skill. Once you put in a few hundred reps, your eyes just go there automatically.
