Hit up a local lake in north Georgia last weekend, targeting some bass. The weather was pretty nice, sunny but not too hot, and the water was actually clearer than I expected for this time of year. I started off with a green pumpkin Senko, which usually does the trick. Had a few bites but lost a decent one at the boat — my knot must've slipped or something, ugh. Fished with my buddy who was throwing some topwater frogs but no luck for him. We ended up with just a couple small ones, but hey, at least we weren't skunked! How's everyone else doing? Are the fish biting in your neck of the woods?
