Are there any 300 Magnum fanboys in here?

I keep hearing it's a "dying round." I don't see any evidence of that; it's always right next to the 30-06 and 8 mm where I shop.

Yes excellent round. I don't see it going away anytime soon. Personally, I shoot a 300 WSM.

Now that is an AR built for business. What a price tag as well. Whew! I bet that shorty has some kick to it. That’s a lot of cartridge to be using in an AR.
