I've been doing some digging on binary triggers since I moved here, but it feels like a bit of a legal maze. I keep reading different opinions, and honestly, it's hard to know what's actually true. I thought they were cool when I saw them at a range back home. But now, I just want to make sure I'm following the rules. Has anyone had experience with this in Georgia? Any tips would be really appreciated, especially for a newbie like me. Do you think it's worth the hassle to find one if they're legal? Just trying to avoid any trouble down the line.

In Georgia, binary triggers are legal under state law since no NFA restrictions. ATF approved them federally tot. Just avoid full-auto lookalikes to stay safe.

Afaik, Georgia law doesn't put any limits on binary triggers, so they're pretty much treated like any other enhancements for semi-autos. But when it comes to federal law, things start to get a bit tricky. Even though binary triggers aren't considered machine guns, the ATF has had a few looks at them over the years and keeps changing their stance.
