Mine was a 90s Chevy Silverado. Up to this day this car is still running with 326k miles on it. We call him Blue.

1974 Chevrolet station wagon. My dad and grandpa decided it was time I learn to drive, so they climbed in the backseat and got plowed on boilermakers while I chauffeured them around.

My very first car I learned to drive was a 1959 Oldsmobile. A huge tank, but it was an awesome car to drive. The first car I got to drive as my own on country roads and back woods til I learned how to properly drive (at 15) was a 1962 Monza Corvair. That was a great little car. The olds got me behind the wheel to get the basics, and the Corvair was the car I learned to truly drive.

53 Dodge station wagon .. had a semi automatic. 3 speed column shift with a clutch but....you could start in 2nd gear and when you wanted to upshift you simply let off the gas and waited for the Clunk. Then you were in 3rd. 1st of over a dozen cars i had from 14 to 18 years old. My dad funded the first few till we made enough to buy them off profit. He taught me damn near everything about cars of the day. Turned our basement into a shop where we rebuilt the cars. We had some serious hot rods in the 60s ..Lol Best time ever...

Would really love to see some pics of those hot rods!

Yes, I photoshopped the paint. BUT my old Omega would scream! This was the first car I ever bought with my own cash, I got it at a police auction for 300$. it was a totally stripped-down drug runner's car, no heat, no air, nothing under the hood but one mean motor! We found some "interesting" items in it when we cleaned it out, too. They didn't search it very well. LOL
