Deer and hog hunter

Most of my free time is spent either in a deer stand or trying to keep the feral hogs from destroying our land. I rely on my old Marlin .30-30 that my grandpa gave me, but I just added a Savage 110 in .308 to my collection, hoping it’ll help me reach out a bit further.

Welcome fellow shooter! It is nice to see folks still running older guns and calibers. I carried a Winchester 94 in 30-30 for many years in my youth on deer hunts.

I bought an AR-10 to do just that myself, the herd doesn't always run when Poppa Piggy takes one for the team!

I am down in health at the time, but I should be back to full strength by spring and I will be rearing to go and knock down some piggies. I put together an AR in .300 blk just for the occasion!
