Ok, not a hunting story, but a hilarious one. One night I was in my garage shop finishing up assembling my new AR15 .300 blackout. Halfway through attaching the barrel, my wife calls in from the house and tells me to come see in the backyard. My two Beagles are raising Caine in a major way. My yard is fenced off, and the back is about 10 yards away, and both dogs are losing their minds at a visitor that was paying them no mind at all. After all, he, and his four women, are frequent visitors and even have a bed down in the trees just beyond the lighting area (about 10 yards further back in the trees. They have been coming about 3 years now. This is the first time he just didn't give a rip about the dogs at all. Here I was empty-handed, .300 in 2 pieces about 25 feet away, and NOT HUNTING SEASON!!! Do you think I see him once season opens? yeah, NO. The fence is about 5'6" tall.
