Maybe we should collaborate, I too am looking for a lightweight but powerful rifle that won't beat my cripple butt to death. I keep coming back to a gutted AR-10.

A three-way collab would be good. I have a lot of good info on that subject as I DIY AR's and have researched a ton over them. Welcome aboard, I am sure others will have good input as well.

I think I'll be sticking with a standard upper and nickel boron plating.
