Looking for a gunsmith who speaks classic doubles

I'm stuck with a Classic Doubles 201 that's been nothing but headaches. One smith made a spring, another didn't want to touch it. It's not broken, just tricky....basically, I need a gunsmith who can handle both simple beaters and high-end doubles, anyone know one?

I've been down that road with a stubborn double myself. Some smiths flat-out won't touch certain models. Best luck I had was finding an older double-gun specialist, it is worth the hunt if you want it done right

If you're looking for a gunsmith, keep an eye out for those who mention brands like Parker, LC Smith, or European doubles. A lot of folks who work on Purdeys and Boss guns will also be more than capable of handling Classic Doubles.
