Any good outdoor ranges around Dalton where I can go for some long-range rifle shooting? I'd love to get some recommendations if you have any!

If you're tryna get in some shooting practice at around 100yds, Chestnut Mountain Shooting Range is a great local spot to check out. I've been there a few times, and the scenery is beautiful, the benches are pretty decent, and if you get there early, you won't have to deal with a crowd. Just make sure you pay online before heading out, since the cell service can be pretty unreliable out there.

Try Gun Site Hills. It might be a little off the beaten path, but it’s worth the trip. They’ve got steel targets set up way past 700 yards, and the whole setup is super friendly for shooters of all levels. There are benches, prone mats, and if you like a bit of a challenge, they even have moving targets. I took my 6.5 Creedmoor out there, and it was so much fun hitting those steel plates from a distance. The vibe is really chill and peaceful, plus the people running the place are just fantastic. You’ll feel right at home.

Chestnut Mountain is a very nice range. $5.00 per visit per person or $25.00 for a one year pass is hard to beat. 0900 to Dusk Monday - Saturday. One person per pass and your vehicle license plate is tied to the pass. Go to Recreation.gov this is a U.S.D.N.R. facility and web site. Down load the pass to your phone or print out your pass, cell phone service usually is nonexistent at the range. If the Rangers shows up he will want to see your pass.

Sup homeboy? if you find anything nearer than John's mountain, I'm there! Jack's pawn has a decent little indoor range, but calibers are limited, and you have to use their ammo.
