Ruger Super Redhawk, 9.5. Going to try my luck on pigs. Before someone calls it, yes, it's AI,
BUT I don't have (OR WANT) a cellphone. I'm planning on feeding it 300 gr. cast unless we hear of
a better idea. Lanyard or not to lanyard?

What a super sweet piece of artillery their dude! Plus the pig sticker is a mighty nice addition! My real estate agent has the very same gun. He loves that thing to death. I like my Model 29 S&W though. My personal round for the piggy with that beast would be the Black Hills 44 Magnum Ammo. The 240 Grain JHP moving almost 1300 fps and 850 ft lbs when it gets there is going to put BBQ on the table for sure. I don't like that big ball of lead tearing it's way through.

I traded off my 29 for the first Ruger. I needed the tank instead of the Porsche. Beautiful weapon, just gravitated to Rugers and just stuck. That's good advice on ammo. I think I have some.

That’s a serious hand cannon..300gr cast should do the job. I’d lanyard it though, nothing ruins a hunt like losing that beast.

I think I might just get a small carabiner and put it through the trigger guard. I asked my smith about putting a ferrule through the grips, and he looked at me like I was Wee Todd Ed. He has a point, those are Ebony!
