That big old monster knife with the chipped tip and hammer marks from splitting deer scapula and pounding tent pegs, chopping brush and marshmallow sticks. What is it? I'm fond of a 20$ (15 years ago) timber rattler Bowie.

Another favorite is an old Sharp cutlery cleaver. Apparently, they were consumed by Frost, but no matter, the timber rattler I have is made of AS-08 stainless and holds an edge quite well through abuse, the one I bought as a beater impressed me so much I bought 3 more for if it ever got wrecked beyond repair, they're still waiting. I have modified the point for better penetration, covered it in boredom filework, and pretty much put it through hell weekly. I use it for BBQ and cooking around home too!
