I've been on the hunt for good local gun shops in Georgia, and I'm sure many of you have had your share of experiences—both good and bad. What makes a gun shop trustworthy to you? Is it their selection of used guns, prices, or maybe their customer service? I've noticed some places are great for transfers but might not have the best inventory.

Have you found a shop that you'd recommend to others? Or maybe a spot to avoid? I'd love to hear about your go-to places, whether it's in Atlanta, Savannah, or anywhere else. Let's gather some solid reviews and help each other out in finding the best places to buy or service firearms!

I like Master Gunman, 1900 Rockbridge Rd, Ste 33 E, Stone Mountain, GA 30087

Range and great staff. Dimitri is the owner and staff manager. Very helpful. I use his shop for receiving FFL weapons. Good prices on guns and support items. Small shop.

Jason's Dead On Gunsmithing in Cleveland, GA. He's on the Helen Hwy. between Cleveland and Helen. Still works on old Colt revolvers. A+

I'm a big Palmetto State fan here in Savannah. Has the best new gun selection in the area and they're usually lower than anyone else. Range staff is awesome and I love having a range membership. They love seeing me bring my daughter in whether it's shopping or shooting. They do stay pretty busy so be prepared to wait for firearm assistance and getting your paperwork done. Now I will say being that these guys are always busy, they're not to big on having their brains picked and questions are usually answered in the shortest form possible. I don't ever feel like I'm being treated bad but I do get the feeling it's all about volume and they're just trying to get to the next person that needs assistance. ALWAYS pay attention to what they have on clearance. You can find some awesome deals on stuff.
