Your Favorite AK Variant and Why

AK-47 Variations: What's Your Go-To Setup?
I'm really interested in the different configurations of AK-47s out there. What kind are you using, and how do you like it? Share some pics or your experiences with your rifle!

I used to be an AK connessuer of sorts. It would either be my RAS-47 2nd run with full Magpul
stocks and a Russian Cobra dot sight or my Romak Romanian in antique wood, and a Krinkov muzzle brake, but I'm kind of fond of my all-milled Chinese Norinco too. No pix, no phone. LOL

Century Arms first run RAS-47s have brittle trunions and should be avoided like the plague! The second run is fine and even comes with Green River barrels. Probably the most accurate AK that is easily affordable, but that first run killed the brand! they were junk! The 2nd run comes factory standard with MOE Magpul.

I usually roll with a classic Romanian AK with a good optic and some Magpul furniture, it is super reliable and handles like a beast

I've always leaned toward a classic AKM, I love the rugged feel and low maintenance. I haven't done heavy mods, just a good optic and stock swap for comfort

Vz58 it's milled receiver last shot hold open can reload using stripper clips. No ak parts fit. It only the ammo is ak. Smoothest shooter of the ak family I've shot and owned!!
