Many of us end up collecting way more calibers than we actually shoot. If you had to pick the rounds you consistently use throughout the year, which ones would they be? We’d love to hear about the guns you use, how often you hit the range, and what purposes those rounds serve for you.

Rifle, 6.5x55. I shoot Swedes, an M41/B is my star of the show. I hit an 8" steel plate at 600 yards 3 times in a row with it in competition.

Handgun, well 45 acp. The Lords caliber. I just enjoy the round no matter if it's coming out of my Colt 1911a1, my Sig P220 or my S&W Shield 45.

I echo his statements on the "Lord's caliber", and his fine choices on the firearms he chooses to send those bad boys down range!

I own more 308s than any other. Second would be 7.62X39, then 5.56.
In pistol, 44 magnum, 357, 9mm that order.
In shotgun 12 and 410.

I have fired more .243 Win rounds than probably anything else. I went through about a 5 year phase where I shot 600-1000 yard steel on weekends and burned up a couple 6mm barrels in the process. The 243 is an awesome round, very under rated in my opinion. I still have 2k 105gr Amax waiting for when I move back West.

If I had to pick one it would be the 5.7x28mm as that is one nice little round. I enjoy shooting it.
This is an interesting round. I remember when it was released, there was only one pistol chambered for it and it was very expensive. I see that PSA has one now for just under $400, with good reviews. I may look into one. I also would love to have like a Ruger 77 or CZ 527 in 5.7. That would be a fun squirrel/chuck gun.
