Planning a trip to visit family and I'm trying to figure out the best route. I want to bring a firearm with me, but navigating through New York State seems tricky. I mean, avoiding NY adds a ridiculous amount of time to the drive. I've heard horror stories about people getting caught up in legal issues there. Just wondering if anyone else has dealt with this kind of situation and what route or options you went with. I'm open to suggestions on how to manage it without too much hassle.
