I have one Vintage Ln
with the original holster supposedly from 1876 is a single six shot us army officer gun. It has all the original scars wear and tear. I was told not to clean it that takes away from value. It has an I think a bird with the wings up I think it has an s on it I don't really know but I'm interested in selling it once I get it appraised by a guns man.

If it really goes back to 1876 and was meant for a US officer, you might have something pretty special on your hands. You did the right thing by not cleaning it. That original patina, along with any marks and wear, adds so much character and keeps it authentic and it can really help with its value. That bird with its wings up and an 'S' might be a manufacturer’s mark or even a military proof stamp. You should definitely get a qualified appraiser or an antique firearms expert to take a look at it. You’ll gain a much better understanding of where it came from, how rare it is, and what it could be worth.
