What Gun Gear Did You Buy Recently?

Picked up something new today and figured I'd start a thread for others to share too. Doesn't have to be anything big — ammo, accessories, deals you found, trades you made — if it's gun-related, post it up. What'd you find or buy recently?

I picked up a Glock the other day for 400$, turns out it was a rare variation called a "fish scale" worth 3 times what I have in it, now I can't shoot it or I'll wreck the unfired condition. The same guy has a 36 in 40 caliber, I'll probably get it too. Poor guy has to sell off all his stuff because his old lady walked out.

I think the subcompact .40 is a model 27. The model 36 is in .45 acp. From the Glock website, both of these have been discontinued ostensibly to focus on the models driving them toward the future - meaning all flavors of 9x19. I am not a fan boy of their products and have a difficult time seeing anyone post up an every day, easily available Glock at a price north of $1000. Could there be some compensated competition model of which I am unaware. Absolutely! Now, if we're talking about a Model 18, then yeah, that one will go well north of 10 Benjamins!
