I've been spending a lot of bench time refining my .308 loads. Currently working on a 168gr ELD-M load using Varget powder. Would love to hear what others are experimenting with and any load data you've found success with.

Varget is a good choice. Don't forget an old powder with a great history of success in the 308. IMR 4895. Something around 42 gr of it, with a 150gr nosler is a terrific load for darn near any 308. Ton of good mid range powder for the 308

I have shot 168 gr BTHP match bullets with ~ 42 grains IMR 4895. First trip to the range with new rifle and test loads yielded 5 shots touching at 100 yards under 1/2" group size. I will admit I did it once, and came close several times. I will say that with 130 grain hollow points (rifle or handgun bullets) with IMR 4895 were just as accurate, easy on my shoulder, and devastating on prairie dogs. Only downside was slight muzzle flip that lost the impact on the target.
